Ths 2 DVD package showcases their amazing live presence as well as providing a more personal look at the band backstage and in
the media. Included on the first DVD is their special one-off homeland show on July 22, 2005 on the Java Island in Amsterdam.
The second DVD includes a wealth of backstage footage from the last three years giving a rare glimpse of the band off-stage as
well as several 'Making Of' features, interviews, and extras. In total the two DVDs contain more than five hours of material -
two hours of live concert and three hours of backstage material, videos and interviews. The bonus 75-minute CD features live audio
from the Java Island performance. Gun. 2005.Showing three different shows and including a whole host of extras (including backstage
footage, interviews, making of and music videos) this is an excuse to both hear an incredible amount of brilliant female-led gothic
metal and cast an eye across the various saucy costumes that Sharon Del Adel sports across the numerous facets of this comprehensive
chronicling of the band’s past year. And sure enough, whether it be for the rousing renditions of “Stand my Ground” and “Angels”
that the band pull off or the revealing corsets and garments that you might well wish Del Adel would likewise pull off, this is a
must buy for fans of the band.There’s little doubting that Within Temptation are a great live outfit and with this in hand, you’d
surely have to consider it probable that this is the band that are most likely to take hold of the mantle that Nightwish are
currently threatening to drop. That is of course, if you don’t think that they have a strong grip on it already.
